Rural Solar Initiative

Tramelton Solar also provides electricity to rural and sub-urban areas using its off-grid solar energy systems. The system provides basic lighting and heating energy needed by rural dwellers. As part of the rural electrification intiative, Tramelton Solar also provides energy efficient lighting bulbs, phone chargers and solar radios.

With support from local government authorities and non-government organizations, the rural solar energy initative promises to be a bold step towards alleviating the energy problems of our rural dwellers. Small scale businesses situated in remote villages may qualify for part-funding to enable them install solar energy systems to help run their businesses.
